What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website or a service it uses saves in your browser. Local storage is a similar store inside your browser that only this website can read, and it is never sent with page requests. We use both sparingly, and advertising cookies only with your consent.
Strictly necessary
These keep the site secure and remember the settings you chose. They do not need consent and cannot be switched off on our side, although you can block or delete them in your browser.

Advertising (only after you accept)
Google AdSense, including Google’s DoubleClick service, may set advertising cookies once you accept them. They are used to show ads, limit repetition, measure results and, where allowed, personalise ads. Google decides the exact names and lifetimes; typical examples are below.

No analytics cookies
We do not use Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics or any other analytics or tracking tool.
Your choices
- Our banner: on your first visit you can accept or reject advertising cookies with one click each. Both buttons are equally easy to use.
- Change your mind: use “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. If Google’s consent message is active in your region, that link opens Google’s message instead.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, personalised advertising stays off and the banner is not shown.
- Browser settings: you can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser. Blocking everything may reset your currency and unit choice on each visit.
- Ad personalisation: manage Google ads at My Ad Center.
Google Consent Mode
Before you make a choice, the site tells Google that advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are all “denied”, and ad data is redacted. Your choice then updates these settings. If you reject, Google may still show ads that are not personalised.
